His name isn't know as a recognized exponent, but definitely made me see the Ethology from another point of view. I never had a great relationship with Biology or Natural sciences, in fact I'm hundred percent humanist, so it was a nice surprise.
He teaches the course of psychobiology in the first year in the career of psychology at the Universidad de Chile. Is an expert in ethology and Zoology, with its simple style to explain the similarities between primates and humans, captivates theirstudents and makes it very easy to understand.
Most of his studies are about primative behavior, and in the classroom relates to human behavior. One of his studies that I like most, is one about the increase of aggressiveness in children in spring and summer. I leave you a study about drosophila evolutive biology: http://www.uc.cl/sw_educ/educacion/grecia/plano/html/pdfs/linea_investigacion/Otros_IOT/IOT_081.pdf
