The movie is about Chris Gardner (Will Smith), a man who has inverted all is money to create a medical machine (a scanner), when he finally finish, he finds out that the bank has taken all his money to pay taxes and his wife, tired of living just for work and pay bills, decides leave him and is little son Christopher.
Once she isn't home, he can't pay the rent so they end living on the streets, with only a few dollars in his bank account and without job.
The movie shows how the love for a son, is the only thing that holds this men and motivates him to succeed, and even he don't know where they going to end, is sure that they will be together, and is that the only that matters
